The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has revealed the final list of nominees for this year’s award. Egypt and Liverpool star,  Mohamed Salah will be up against the Senegal duo of Sadio Mane and keeper Edouard Mendy for the men’s Player of the Year award. A pig farmer who murdered his wife and hid her body for 37 years has been sentenced to 18 years in jail. 89-year-old David Venables killed his spouse Brenda in May 1982 and then dumped her body in the underground septic tank at their farm in Kempsey, Worcestershire.
