The Lagos State Taskforce on Thursday, June 2, said it will crush 2,228 seized motorcycles, popularly known as okada to serve as a deterrent to others. Taskforce Chairman, CSP Shola Jejeloye said the motorcycles will be crushed on Friday, June 3. This comes after the state government placed a ban on commercial motorcycles in six local governments in the state after a sound engineer was lynched by motorcyclists in Lekki, Lagos. The US has confirmed that Cyber Command, the US military’s hacking unit, has conducted offensive cyber operations against Russia. The Cyber command has performed operations in support of Ukraine’s defenses but is avoiding directly engaging Russia in a shooting war. “We’ve conducted a series of operations across the full spectrum; offensive, defensive, [and] information operations,” General Paul Nakasone said in an interview with Sky News.
