Kenya and Zimbabwe’s football associations have received government interference in their affairs and due to that have not yet met the criteria required by the FIFA Congress as a prerequisite for lifting their suspension. According to online reports, the social media personality passed away on Monday, May 23, in Asaba, Delta State. It was also gathered that this was the second time he was poisoned after surviving the first incident.

President Muhammadu Buhari has stated that his government will rest until peace is fully restored in Nigeria. The President said this on Monday May 23, during the 58th anniversary of the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) held at the NAF base in Kano. Buhari who also thanked the NAF and other security agencies for their sacrifices toward peace, assured of his government’s continued support. The Federal Government and the Nigerian Financial Intelligence Unit (NFIU) on Monday May 23, won the case against the state governors over the financial autonomy from the Local Government joint account. Ahmed Dikko, NFIU’s chief media analyst said in a statement that Justice Inyang Ekwo of the Federal High Court delivered the judgement. The NFIU had in June 2019 issued guidelines aimed at curbing crime vulnerabilities created by cash withdrawals from local government accounts by various state governments.
