The Academic Staff Union of Research Institutions (ASURI) has suspended its indefinite strike. Recall that the union had embarked on an indefinite strike last October over unresolved issues with the Federal Government. About $23.5 million in looted funds by allies and family of former Nigerian dictator, the late Sani Abacha, has been recovered by the National Crime Agency (NCA) of the United Kingdom. Former President Goodluck Jonathan has paid glowing tribute to his former boss, late Umaru Musa Yar’Adua, on the occasion of his 12th death anniversary.
