The Alaafin of Oyo, Lamidi Adeyemi, has passed on, according to PREMIUM TIMES. Alaafin Adeyemi, the third from the Alowodu Ruling House, died in the late hours of Friday at the Afe Babalola University Teaching Hospital, Ado Ekiti. A Federal High Court in Abuja has sacked Yakubu Dogara from the House of Representatives and declared his seat vacant. Mr Dogara, who represents Bogoro/Dass Federal constituency of Bauchi State, was the Speaker of the House of Representatives between 2015 and 2019. The judge, D.U.
