Veteran singer, Inetimi Alfred Odon, known best as Timaya was accused on Wednesday of hitting a lady with his car. Reports state that the singer drove of despite knowing what he had done. Several attempts made by the victim’s sister, identified with the handle whyte_26, to contact Timaya were futile. The singer went ahead to even block the victim’s sister who had messaged him on Instagram. The Federal Government on Thursday approved the request by the United States of America, for suspended Commander of the Police Intelligence Response Team, Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Abba Kyari, to be extradited over the $1.1million wire fraud perpetrated by Abass Ramon aka Hushpuppi and 4 others. Government’s approval was made known by the Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami (SAN) when he filed an application before the Chief Judge of the Federal High Court in Abuja for Kyari’s extradition. China has offered to mediate ceasefire negotiations between Ukraine and Russia amid its strongest comments yet over the conflict.
