The All Progressives Congress (APC) has announced plans of amending its constitution ahead of its convention scheduled for February 26. John Akpanudoedehe, national secretary of APC caretaker committee disclosed that the ruling party will be replacing the provision for board of trustees (BoT) in its constitution with a national advisory council. A fan of Brazilian soccer power, Palmeiras, was shot dead outside the club’s stadium Saturday February 12, following the team’s 2-1 loss to Chelsea in the Club World Cup final in Abu Dhabi. Sao Paulo police Investigator Cesar Saad told journalists a suspect was shortly arrested in connection to the shooting.
