Suspended Manchester City star, Benjamin Mendy was moved to a top-security prison just days before Christmas amid fears over his safety. The 27-year-old, who is now accused of seven counts of rape and one count of sexual assault, was switched to the notorious HMP Prison Manchester, commonly referred to as Strangeways, on December 23. Watford midfielder, Ismaila Sarr has finally been released by his club to join up with Senegal’s squad for the Africa Cup of Nations finals, ending a riff between the club and country. A 4-year-old girl, who has reportedly been identified as the grandniece of George Floyd, was shot while sleeping in her bed during the early hours of New Year’s Day. According to ABC13, the bullet was fired by an unidentified suspect, or suspects, who shot into her family’s Texas house.
