Nigerian music heavyweights, Wizkid, Burna Boy and Davido showed up at the same event in celebration of the yuletide season. The three superstars all graced the Tony Elumelu Magic Christmas party which was held last night, December 23, 2021. Billionaire businessman, Tony Elumelu shared videos from the event on his Instagram story and it was invigorating. He took snapshots with Wiz and Burna at the different times that they showed up at the Christmas event. The singers also mounted the stage individually to perform some of their old-time hit songs. The Federal Government has declared Monday 27th, Tuesday 28th December 2021 and Monday, 3rd January 2022 as public holidays to mark Christmas, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day celebrations respectively. Benjamin Mendy is accused of seven counts of rape and one count of sexual assault Manchester City defender Benjamin Mendy has been charged with a further count of rape. The French international, of Prestbury in Cheshire, is now accused of seven counts of rape and one count of sexual assault relating to five women. The 27-year-old was charged last week with the latest offence but it was subject to reporting restrictions. President Muhammadu Buhari has explained why he declined assent to the Electoral Act (Amendment) Bill 2021. In a letter addressed to the President of the Senate, Ahmed Lawan after the 30-day window for him to assent the bill elapsed over the weekend, the President stated that the prevailing situation in the country would not allow him to sign the bill.
