Fans will need a Covid pass to observe Premier League games from Wednesday Forty-two Premier League players and staff tested positive for Covid-19 in the past week – the most recorded in the league over seven days. It is the highest number since 40 cases were reported in January. That week, 2,295 tests were carried out, while 3,805 tests were done in the latest round from 6-12 December. President of the Senate, Ahmad Lawan has said that the National Assembly will pass the proposed 2022 budget before the end of the legislative week. Lawan disclosed this while giving a lecture at the maiden Distinguished Parliamentarians Lecture Series organised by the National Institute for Legislative and Democratic Studies (NILDS) on Monday, December 13. Popular Instagram skit comedian, Abdulgafar Ahmad known as Cute Abiola, has shared his first post on his Instagram page hours after he was released from the custody of the Nigerian Navy. The comedian, who is also Naval personnel, was picked up at his duty post (office) on November 14 for violating the Armed Forces Social Media Policy and has been in Naval detention.
