The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has announced the postponement of its Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC), known as eNaira originally planned to be launched on October 1, Nigeria’s independence day. Speaking with newsmen in Abuja on Thursday, September 30, CBN spokesman, Osita Nwanisobi, explained that the CBN decided to postpone the launch, due to Nigeria’s independence celebration. R&B superstar, R.Kelly has been found guilty of racketeering in a high-profile sex-trafficking case after being trailed by accusations of sexual misconduct and abuse for a long time.
