The Governing Council of Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife has dismissed a lecturer, Dr. Adebayo Mosobalaje, who was accused of sexual harassment. Dr. Mosobalaje, a lecturer at the Department of English Language, Faculty of Art, was allegedly found guilty of sexual demeanor against a female undergraduate of the institution, Rachel Momoh. Adamawa State Police Command has apprehended one Dada Gbenga Ayomilekan, who was parading himself as a member of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) A forged HND certificate and fake identification card among other documents were recovered from the suspect. A contractor handling the remodelling of the Alanama Central LGEA School, Ita-Elefun, Ilorin, has been discovered to be doing shoddy work on site. Zamfara State Commissioner for Information, Ibrahim Dosara has said that shutting down telecommunication services in the state has added to the success of an ongoing military onslaught against bandits.
