The lead members of the Indigenous People of Biafra IPOB have distanced themselves from the different sit-at-home orders enforced in different parts of the South East. In a statement released by its publicity secretary, Powerful Emma, the group said asides the one enforced today to commemorate the death of its members killed during the invasion of their leader, Nnamdi Kanu’s home in Abia in 2017, it has not announced any other sit-at-home order. Akwa Ibom State Police Command has arrested a suspected gun manufacturer, Ekike Hector David.
