The Commissioner of Police, Lagos State Command, CP Hakeem Odumosu, has issued a warning to Yoruba activist, Sunday Adeyemi popularly known as Sunday Igboho, against staging any rally in the state. Igboho had recently declared intentions to organize a rally in Lagos to sensitize residents of the state on the need to support the call for the actualization of the Yoruba nation. The Department of State Services (DSS) has declared Yoruba activist, Sunday Adeyemo, popularly known as Sunday Igboho, wanted immediately after his house was paraded. The spokesperson for the service, Peter Afunnaya, while addressing newsmen in Abuja on Thursday, July 1, confirmed that the agency carried out the raid on Igboho’s Ibadan residence in the early hours of Thursday, July 1.
