A French court has sentenced the 28-year-old man who slapped France’s president, Emmanuel Macron, bagged four months in prison. Damien Tarel was immediately arrested after the incident which occurred as the French leader was greeting a crowd in the region on Tuesday. The Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) has threatened to prosecute the Federal government following the decision to suspend Twitter’s operations in Nigeria. In a statement released on Friday evening, June 4, Olumide Apata, NBA president, said the federal government lacked constitutional authority to back its decision.
