The Medical Director of Grandville Trauma Centre, Aranmolate Ayobami, said his facility treated 15 victims of the Lekki Tollgate shootings of last October 20 in Lagos. Ayobami told the Lagos State Judicial panel probing police brutality and the Lekki tollgate incident that the patients were transferred from three hospitals in Lekki with gunshot wounds. Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom has fired back at Governor Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna state after the latter described him as a failure and someone he doesn’t take seriously. A young girl has been nabbed after she gave a baby bleach to drink. The girl who has been identified as Mmesoma, said she was promised N20k by one Chisom to carry out such evil act. According to her, Chisom promised to give her the money after the baby has been confirmed dead. In Kwara State, residents were helpless as heavy flood pushed cars into a ditch. Heavy rainfall on Thursday night, May 6, 2021, caused a flood that made major roads unmotorable. This ugly incident took place along Ajase Ipo road (Offa Garage), In Ilorin, Kwara State where Taxis, and trucks packed by the road side, were swept away into a ditch by the flood and residents could only look.
