Former governor of Imo state, Senator Rochas Okorocha, has broken his silence following his arrest by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on Tuesday, April 13. Ahmed Usman, the former military administrator of Oyo and Ondo states is dead. Usman died in the early hours of Wednesday April 14 in Jos, Plateau State capital. The deceased who retired from the army as a colonel, hails from Okura in Kogi state but was the military administrator of Ondo from 1994 to 1996 and Oyo from 1996 to 1998. Kosovo has elected a new president, Vjosa Osmani-Sadriu, 38, after the former president, Hashim Thaci, vacated the post in November, 2020, after being charged with war crimes. A police body camera captured the moment a female police officer shot and killed a 20-year-old black man during a weekend traffic stop near Minneapolis. Daunte Wright, a 20-year-old Black man, was fatally shot by officer Kim Potter on Sunday afternoon, April 11 during a traffic stop in the Minneapolis suburb of Brooklyn Center.
