The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has confirmed that former governor of Imo State, Owelle Rochas Okorocha is no longer in its custody. It would be recalled that the senator representing Imo west senatorial district has been grilled at the EFCC office in Abuja since Tuesday April 14, over issues bothering on alleged corruption. The Nigerian Drug Law Enforcement Agency NDLEA, says its operatives in Lagos last night April 14, arrested popular rap artiste, CDQ, for being in possession of banned substance, Cannabis, which is popularly known as ”loud” In an interview with Punch, the spokesperson of the agency, Femi Babafemi, said the agency got intelligence that the rapper was in possession of the banned substance and stormed his Lekki home and arrested him. Former governor of Imo state, Senator Rochas Okorocha, has broken his silence following his arrest by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on Tuesday, April 13. Ahmed Usman, the former military administrator of Oyo and Ondo states is dead. Usman died in the early hours of Wednesday April 14 in Jos, Plateau State capital. The deceased who retired from the army as a colonel, hails from Okura in Kogi state but was the military administrator of Ondo from 1994 to 1996 and Oyo from 1996 to 1998.
