The Oba of Lagos, Rilwan Akiolu, is currently under fire over the comment he made on Wednesday, March 3, that hoodlums who invaded his palace during the #EndSARS protest stole his $2 million and N17 million. Oba of Lagos, Rilwan Akiolu has alleged that $2 million and N17 million were stolen from his palace during the #EndSARS crisis in 2020. According to the Nigeria Center for Disease Control NCDC, 464 new cases of COVID19 were recorded in Nigeria on Wednesday, March 3. States with fresh cases include Lagos-131, Kaduna-69, Akwa Ibom-33, Imo-31, Katsina-30, Kano-26, Ondo-23, Yobe-20, FCT-18, Ogun-13, Rivers-12, Kebbi-11, Ekiti-9, Osun-6, Oyo-6, Borno-5, Gombe-5, Plateau-5, Edo-4, Abia-3, Delta-3 and Zamfara-1. Nigeria currently has 156,963 confirmed cases of the viral disease.  135,831 patients have successfully been treated and discharged, while 1,939 deaths have  been recorded.
