The Protesters at the Lekki toll gate in Lagos state have received a solar inverter and multiple charging points to charge their phones as they continue the #EndSARS Protest. This is the latest among other innovations protesters in Lagos have decided to keep the fight for #Endpolicebrutality alive. Recall that food, medical supplies, music and many more have in the past been donated to these Protesters to keep them on the streets by various brands and individuals as a way of supporting the fight against the Special Anti Robbery Squad (SARS).

A group of hackers identified as Anonymous have hacked the Twitter account of the National Broadcasting Commission in support of the ongoing #EndSARS, #EndSWAT protests against police brutality in Nigeria. “We #Anonymous have taken over all the NG Official Twitter’s Account to support #ENDPOLICEBRUTALITY, ” the hackers said in a message posted with NBC’s handle. This comes 24 hours after the group with over 5 million followers on Twitter, claimed they have hacked “multiple” Nigerian Government websites before giving the Nigerian government a peaceful warning and 72 hours to #EndPoliceBrutality or “face the consequences.”

148 new cases of Coronavirus were recorded in Nigerian on Thursday October 15, as confirmed by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC). A breakdown of the new cases is as follows; Lagos (66), FCT (25), Oyo (13), Plateau (11), Kaduna (7), Rivers (6), Ebonyi (5), Ekiti (4), Ogun (4), Imo (2), Ondo (2), Edo (1), Nasarawa (1), Taraba (1). A total of 60,982 cases have been confirmed in the country, 52,194 cases have been discharged and 1,116 deaths have been recorded in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.
