The Nigerian Army has announced that the newly-launched Exercise Crocodile Smile VI has nothing to do with the ongoing ENDSARS protests across the nation. The Acting Director, Army Public Relations, Col. Sagir Musa, revealed this in a statement on Sunday in Abuja. A group of hackers identified as Anonymous have hacked the Twitter account of the National Broadcasting Commission in support of the ongoing #EndSARS, #EndSWAT protests against police brutality in Nigeria. “We #Anonymous have taken over all the NG Official Twitter’s Account to support #ENDPOLICEBRUTALITY, ” the hackers said in a message posted with NBC’s handle.
