After a prolonged court case between PDP member-elect and kwara state speaker over the refusal to swear in the member-elect representing Ilorin South Constituency, Hon. Jimoh Raheem Agboola, the Kwara State House of Assembly Speaker, Rt. Hon. Yakubu Danladi finally bowed to pressure and has now fixed a date for the swearing-in of the member elected under the platform of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

The statement of the swearing-in reads:

SWEARING- IN FOR
MEMBER-ELECT

This is to inform the General Public that the Swearing-in for the Member-Elect (Ilorin South) Constituency, Hon. Jimoh Raheem Agboola has been scheduled for Tuesday, 9th February 2021 in the Kwara State House of Assembly Hallowed Chamber at 10. O’clock in the morning.

The Member-Elect and General Public are to therefore take note of the date.

The Member-Elect is further Urged to ensure full compliance with Covid-19 protocol while in attendance.
