The appointment of Abdullahi Lade as a member of the State Sports Commission by Kwara State Governor, Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq is a testimony to the doggedness and unrelenting effort of the Present administration been led by His Excellency Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq in youth inclusion in governance.

Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq led administration in Kwara State is not only changing the narrative but showing others the directions to inclusive governance.

“The phenomenal Lade is not just a lover of sporting activities, but equally an advocate of grassroots sports, a goal-getter whose Influence has contributed immensely to the lives of his people most especially the Lade community.

Abdullahi Yunusa Lade is the Co-Founder, Duku Lade football club, a community-based football club in Lade that was established to foster unity and cooperation among the talented and skilful youngsters in actualizing their aim in becoming future champions

Lade and his co-founder has sponsored several inter-community football competitions, donated several sporting kits and other community interventions outside sporting activities.

He is a great pick for this new assignment considering his passion for grassroots sports, community development and human capital development which has been his areas of concentration over the years.

I express optimism that with this new assignment he would not disappoint the people of Patigi Local Government Area and Kwara North in general in carrying out the State assignment.

I profoundly appreciate His Excellency Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq for finding him worthy of this state assignment and I wish him and other appointees a successful tenure in office.
