The Kwara State Commissioner for Special duties Hajiya Ahmed Mariam Hassana has said that Nupe Speaking community in the State will continue to work for the progress and the electoral victory of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the 2023 election.
Hajiya Hassana stated this at the Stakeholder meeting with a delegate from Patigi Local Government Area at the just-concluded Stakeholder meeting with the Youth wings from the party to Kwara State held in her office, in Ilorin Kwara State capital.
She urged all the Members of the party to go about the campaigns with the spirit of sportsmanship, bearing in mind that the party’s interest was more important than their aspirations.
Encouraged them to unite under the APC to contribute to the success of the party at the state and national levels.
Speaking further, Hajiya Hassana revealed that the Leadership of Gov. Abdulrasaq Abdulrahman has brought more women especially those at the grassroots to power because of his leadership style, adding that the governor has gone around sixteen local government areas of the state spread the tentacles of good governance.
The Commissioner however called party faithful to collapse their various meetings into one at all levels, urging them to work for peace, unity and progress of the party.
