Willi – Jaiyee

Born Adegboyega Joshua Fawole on 9 June 2001, known professionally as Willi is a Nigerian singer/songwriter,record producer,  and music director or he can be defined as music itself. He started making and recording music at age 13, and created ‘The Light’, a musical group formed with his close friends in the choir in church. He rose to prominence in 2017 with the release of the song ‘Memories’. He has produced for different artistes like Zlatan Ibile,Oberz,Famous,King Gzie, O tims, Tony Tetuila, Azadus, , Oberz. He is the greatest of all time.

I actually recorded Jaiye sometime in the end of the second quarter of 2020. I started with the backups in the beginning, well actually that’s what inspired the song because I recorded a song before that, it was a reggae song actually. It was really just a build another song on the catelogue. It made me understand the worth of freedom because 2020 was a mess but the music of that period was gold.
