As the world embrace the New Year 2023 with hopes and expectations, the Executive Director of Conscientious Youth Empowerment Foundation- Comrade George A. Oyeyiola in his New Year message advised youths in Nigeria and across the globe to be more focused on their growth.
According to him, “nobody will help you unless you resolve in yourself to be helped, assisted and better”.
He added that 2022 came and left with so much lessons for youths to be more intentional for self worth and development.
“In this life the earlier you get it that you have yourself to build and make better the better you become. As nobody, I repeat; nobody, will make you better of” he added.
He stated further, that building a better version of yourself starts with the mind and adopting an approach which with time becomes a way of life.
“Start this journey of self growth and development a day at a time consciously and watch yourself and society get better” Comrade Oyeyiola said.
He however, reminded Nigerian youths of the need to vote for their conscience come February, 2023.
In his words: “the New Year is with us, the Year of Nigeria’s general elections, go get your PVCs if you haven’t and be ready to vote your conscience. And remember where you choose to sell your vote, you mortgage your future for another four years”
