In a heartwarming act of generosity, renowned philanthropist Amb Yahaya Seriki Gambari has stepped forward to make a significant contribution towards rescuing young Abdulhayy Modibbo from the challenges of Waardenburg Syndrome. At 4 years and 6 months old, Abdulhayy was diagnosed with this developmental disorder that has caused hearing loss and other symptoms.

Having been diagnosed at the University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital, Abdulhayy urgently requires medical attention, including a Cochlear implant and other forms of rehabilitation. The surgery is time-sensitive, as it must be performed before he reaches 5 years of age.

To aid in his recovery, Amb Yahaya Seriki Gambari has generously donated ₦2 million to support Abdulhayy’s journey to health and a brighter future. The total required amount for his medical needs is ₦10.5 million. The entire community is now urged to rally behind this cause and contribute towards giving Abdulhayy a chance at a normal life.

The family is thus left with a little above #8,000,000 (eight million naira) to complete the treatment money.

The father of the beneficiary, Imam Ahmed prayed to God Almighty to continue to bless and elevate Amb. Yahyah Seriki, stressing that the donation is a huge relief for himself and family, praying that may Seriki and his family never face the trauma the parents of the ailing kid have been battling for years.
