Detectives of the Lagos State Police Command have arrested a fake soldier, Oluwatosin Gabriel during the enforcement of the total ban on motorcycles in some parts of the state. A discreet investigation by the detectives led to the arrest of the supplier of the military uniforms, one Nurudeen Agboola ‘m’ aged 35. According to the police, items recovered from the fake soldier and his supplier include four pairs of military camouflage uniform, nine live cartridges, military identity cards, police accouterments and charms. British Airways is reportedly considering stopping flights to Nigeria from December 1, 2022, as the trapped $464m foreign airlines’ fund crisis lingers in the country. Four bunkery suspects have been arrested by the National Security and Civil Defence Corps in Delta State which also intercepted six tankers and articulated trucks loaded with stolen illegally refined petroleum products suspected to be Automated Gasoline Oil.
