Operatives of the Ondo State Security Network codenamed Amotekun Corps have arrested 18 suspected bandits from Katsina State. The suspected bandits were reportedly traveling in three hummer buses before men of the Amotekun Corps, in a joint operation with the police, apprehended one of the buses while two others escaped. A heavy-duty truck reportedly crushed one Usman Salakani to death in Ilorin, the Kwara State capital. The incident occurred at the popular Post Office roundabout about 10 am on Thursday, while the deceased was reportedly attempting to collect money from the truck driver.
