Afrobeat singer and producer Dinky Frank Okechukwu popularly known as D77 has said that his return to the music scene will be spectacular.

Now based in Europe, D77 revealed that being away from the everyday business of the music industry was more of a journey of self-discovery in music.

“I was known for a number of things in the industry, especially as a singer and a producer”

“Back in the days,  I worked with artists like Duncan Mighty, J Martins, Slow Dog and Ruff Coin Nwaba. The list keeps going”

“I took time off because I wanted to find a new sound that speaks about my identity, especially now that Afrobeat has gone global. I found it and I am coming back soon”, he said.

D77 further stated that his return will be marked with the release of a single which will consistently be followed by other projects.

He said that having taken time to study the industry, it is time for the world to sing his name.

“Spectacle and scintillating”, he said while describing his return and upcoming single, adding that his works will speak for him when they are finally released.

“I’ll have the buzzes and shivers going round from the end of February and we have other exciting activities lined up afterwards”

“It’s been very rough years behind and I am so grateful to everyone who has been here with me.

“A new generation of artists are here, but this is the best time for me to show off the stuff I am made of” he said.
